My Wife’s Story

Being in healthcare for over 35 years and having the privilege of leading healthcare start-ups and turnarounds for the payer, provider, international healthcare IT and consulting companies has given me a global perspective of the issues facing the patent and their provider of care.
However, not until my wife was diagnosed with cancer did I experience the frustration of receiving healthcare services. I became the manager of her healthcare for thirteen different providers. As with most in a comparable situation, even with my healthcare experience, I found most of these providers were not able to communicate directly with each other. As one of her care givers, I became her quarter back and was cast directly into a system that was unable to communicate with each other let alone with me and my wife.
The result was miss-communication and poor patient experience which was confusing, duplicative, and costly. This led to the creation of My Docs™, which will give the patient, their providers, and care-givers the information they need to better manage their medical information.
